Frequently Asked Questions
How often are sessions?
For psychotherapy (not including ketamine or hypnotherapy intensives), sessions are held on a weekly basis. Weekly therapy supports consistent momentum and helps build the trust and safety needed for deeper work.
Biweekly sessions may be appropriate in some cases, but they tend to slow the pace of progress. I do not offer once-a-month therapy, as the work requires more continuity to be truly effective.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM WEEKLY SESSIONS:
In weekly psychotherapy sessions, we’ll meet for 45–50 minutes to explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds that keep you stuck. This is a space where high-achieving, hyper-independent women—often perfectionists or people-pleasers—can finally feel safe enough to soften.
Each session is a co-created process. We’ll begin by tracking what’s most alive for you in the moment, whether that’s anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, or relational conflict. From there, we’ll follow the thread together—gently unearthing the roots of these challenges, often tied to childhood trauma, emotionally immature parents, or experiences of emotional neglect.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about reconnecting with the parts of you that had to go silent. You’ll learn to set boundaries, stop abandoning yourself, and begin trusting your own inner wisdom. Over time, many clients report feeling more grounded, more at home in their bodies, and more able to speak their truth without guilt.
Sessions are billed at $225 for 45 minutes and occur weekly. For clients engaging in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or hypnotherapy intensives, those sessions are billed as double sessions (two psychotherapy sessions) and run for 2 hours.
HOw long are sessions?
For psychotherapy (not including ketamine of hypnotherapy intensives), sessions are billed for 45 minutes and last anywhere from 45-50 minutes.
Ketamine and hypnotherapy sessions are billed as double sessions (two 45 minute sessions), but are 2 hours long
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, but that doesn’t necessarily mean therapy has to be unaffordable. In many cases, once your deductible is met, your co-insurance (the percentage you’re responsible for) is comparable to an in-network copay. You may be surprised by how accessible therapy can be!
To make this easier, I’ve partnered with Thrizer, a platform that allows you to pay only your co-insurance upfront (after your deductible is met), rather than waiting weeks for reimbursement.
✨ Here’s how it works:
If you'd like me to run a benefits check for you, just send a photo of the front and back of your insurance card to citlali@innerworldspsychotherapy.com. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours with a personalized estimate of what your out-of-pocket costs may be.
What is your rate?
Psychotherapy sessions (45 minutes) are $225.
If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits, you may be reimbursed for a significant portion (up to 80%)—often bringing your cost close to a typical copay. I’m happy to help you understand and optimize these benefits.
Hypnotherapy Intensives and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy sessions (90–120 minutes) are $500.
To make these more accessible, you can choose a 6-month payment plan through CareCredit. [Apply HERE]
A limited number of sliding scale spots are available. While I can't guarantee availability, feel free to ask if one opens up.
